Busy busy…

We’ve had a really busy few months (also sorry the news has been a bit quiet on here).

We’ve had Cadets attending a week’s camp at HMS Bristol.  We’ve collected money for the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. We’ve been shooting,  visiting aircraft, attended talks, been to concerts, helping other organisations in the community, attending parades, visiting emergency services and more. That’s just some of the weekends, not even our parade nights.

We’ve got lots more coming up before Christmas and into the New Year.

If you want to get involved with the Squadron and are aged 12 (and in year eight at school) or older, then contact us! We’re always happy to meet new cadets. Feel free to come and see us and find out more about what we do. Bring a friend, if you wish.

We try and keep our Facebook page up to date, so if you wish to see some pictures of the cadets out and about, why not like our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/2426Pencoed/.

Poppy Appeal

Tonight we received some Poppy Appeal goodies that we’ll be selling in Pencoed in a few weeks.

Each year the Cadets help sell poppies to raise money for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. This year we’ve got more than just poppies!

There are friendship bracelets, snappy rulers, hair clips, pencils and lots of other treats.

Be sure to look out for the Cadets in Pencoed in the weeks before Remembrance Sunday and donate to this great cause.
